CG Duals 2010

Daddy had his home wrestling tournament this weekend which means I had family coming to town! Uncle Jack and Uncle Cale helped Dad with the tournament while I played with Nana, Pops, Aunt Jacque, and Grace. We ate ice cream, cheez its, cookies and m&m's (provided by Nana & Aunt Jacque of course)....it was a good day! Grace and I watch some of the movie Cars, Care Bears, and my favorite Christmas sing along and of course played with toys, Oscar the cat, and an empty box.

Dad had me come eat breakfast with the team and I got to warm up on the mat with too. I had a good time watching wrestling and seeing family. It was another great weekend!
Mom still doesn't have a camera, but stole some pictures from Grace's blog...

Still No Camera

Mom still doesn't have a camera so adorable pictures of me will not be gracing my page anytime soon :(

Mom and Dad had a 3 day weekend and I enjoyed our long weekend together! Saturday Mom and I went to watch Dad's wrestlers at their Topeka tournament. The guys did great Saturday, they had 2 guys place 1st and 8 others place 2nd, 3rd, or 4th! After the tournament we had to hit up Babies r' Us, the mother land for mothers, for some necessities.

Guess who was at our house when we got home? Grandma! She stayed with us through Monday and I had a great time seeing her and showing her all my toys. Grandma also made sure Oscar the cat didn't bully me too much.

On Monday we decided we had to get out of the house, so we went to Emporia to eat lunch and then cached a CG boys basketball game in the afternoon. Nana was on her way home from KC, so she stopped to see me for a little bit. Glad we could catch her on her way home!

Busy weekend as usual, but I'm so happy I got to see both Grandmas! Next weekend is Daddy's home wrestling tournament so I will get to see lots of family and friends. Maybe mom will have pictures next post, well see!

Hello 2010

Happy New Year!
For NYE we went out to some friend's cabin at the lake who invited 2 other families and their kids. I had a good time playing with my buddies and sneaking crackers and cheese. I even stayed up till 11:30 p.m. and slept in till 9 a.m.

The next few days were lazy blurs and it's nice to be back in my normal routine now.

Football

I love me some football. I am 100% all man. During the break week between Christmas and New Year's, dad didn't have to go to work. So of course we watched every single Bowl Game that we could while mom was at work. I personally enjoy sitting on my rocking horse while dad prefers the couch for football watching. I even call the TV remotes "football" because that's what they do, turn on the TV for football!

If mom had a camera *sigh* she'd upload a picture of me sitting on my rocking horse, glued to the TV, watching football.....

Merry Christmas - Very Late - Bad Mom

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a great and blessed Christmas like I did. We started off at Grandma's on Tuesday, and ended at Nana and Pop's on Monday. As predicted I was spoiled completely with toys and attention from all the family we saw during the break. I have to admit I had a better Christmas than mom and dad. Mom got so sick on Christmas she couldn't even make it with dad, grandma and I to great Aunt Janet's house in Ellis. But she was better on Saturday and made the drive with us to El Dorado. I hung out with my best friends and cousins, Grace, Lauren, and Jordy. Then dad got super sick on Sunday and we had to stay over another night. After we got home Monday mom took me to the Dr. and he said I had a double ear infection. What a week! But we're all healthy now and thankful to be back into a routine.

No pictures? Funny story. On Christmas morning, while Dad was busy loading the car for the trip to Ellis, he dropped our camera in the driveway. This would be the same camera mom made him promise, on her death bed, that he'd take to Christmas to capture all the joy that she was missing while home.alone.and sick. And needless to say he didn't notice he dropped it, and then ran over it. So the camera didn't have a good Christmas and we're currently in the market for it's replacement. Dad's defense is simply I went to Christmas with the in-laws without my wife. Mom has since cut him some slack. Personally I don't understand this statement as I had a blast being treated like a circus monkey by dotting women all day. Mom was however able to save the memory card so pictures from Grandma's Christmas morning will be coming soon.

Happy Birthday baby Jesus, we'll celebrate again next year I promise!
