Homecoming 2009

Friday was Council Grove's homecoming. Mom took off work so that we could go to the parade and make the ceremony ON TIME! I had a good time at the parade and the game especially since the Braves won! We left at half time because it was cold!

Dee Ann's Wedding!

One of Mommy's good friends from high school got married in Larned this weekend. Saturday morning we packed up and headed out to Grandma's. We had a very busy and fun weekend. CG won their football game Friday night, the wedding was beautiful and mom loved seeing her friends, Dad and I watched K-State football at our friend's the Blosser's who moved to Larned, and more time with Grandma on Sunday.

1 year check up

On Thursday I had my 1 year check up. The doctor said I was healthy as a horse! I am 30.25 inches long and 20 lbs 7 oz. I had to get 4 shots and blood drawn, but I was brave. Mom and Dad took me out to eat at Texas Star in Aggieville and I even ate off their plates.
Mom says I definitely don't act like a baby anymore! I have my own opinions and ideas!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Saturday was my 1st Birthday Party! I am blessed to have such great family and friends. So many of them were able to attend my party, we had a blast! I was exhausted the rest of the weekend, but it was worth it! Thank you everyone for being a part of my very 1st year!!!

1st K-State Game

Mom just realized it's Friday and she never posted pics from my 1st K-State game Saturday. I had a good time, but it was hot. We sat with Aunt Johnna and her family, mom and dad had fun too! Friday before the game Aunt Abby, Uncle Kieth, & Lauren, along with Nana and Pops came to CG to watch Dad's HS football team. The Braves won big time! I had a good weekend with family, friends, and football!
* On a side note: It's official as of yesterday, I can walk on my own and I think I've given up the bottle! All in one day!

Happy Birthday Lauren!

Lauren had her 3rd birthday party at the DeAnna Rose Farmstead in KC. We had never been before and I thought it was really neat! I like to pet the sheep and goats. I also wanted to get in the fishing pond while the girls were catching fish. Mom wouldn't let me :(

Toilet Paper = Best Toy Ever!!!

I discovered the toilet paper roll this weekend! What great fun! After unrolling a whole roll we headed out to El Dorado so Dad could mow Nana and Pops' lawn and Mom did some grocery shopping. I napped outside with Nana and sat on the 4-wheeler with Pops. I had a fun weekend and I am also getting closer to walking!!

1st Hair Cut

Since my hair had to be brushed behind my ears, it was time for a hair cut. Aunt Jacque trimmed my hair all over, it needed it pretty bad. After wards she styled my hair too. I look like a big boy now!

Another Wedding Weekend

On Saturday Mom and I drove to KC to Grace's house. Nana & Pops, Aunt Abby and Lauren came over to have lunch and go to the pool with us. I met Aiden at the pool, he and his parents are friends with Aunt Jacque, Uncle Cale, and Grace. I still love the water!

After the pool we went back to Grace's house to play. I stayed at her house while mom went to Christina's wedding. I enjoyed Grace's toys, especially the ball pit!

KinderMusik

On Tuesday I went to a KinderMusik demo and had a blast! We got to play with instruments, dance to music, and she even had parachutes! I had no fear and crawled all over the room, stole music instruments from other parents, and even sat under the parachute. It was great!

On Sunday we went to our friend's house in Wabaunasse to have diner and so I could play with Autumn (almost 5 years) and Abby (6 mo). We had delicious food and I even sat in Abby's swing like a big baby! Autumn read a book to me. I'm very jealous of all these big kids who can walk and run.
