Great Wolf Lodge - Spring Break 2010

This weekend the whole family got together for a weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge. It was a snowy and cold weekend but we stayed warm in the indoor water park. I had a great time with all my cousins, Aunts/Uncles, and Nana & Pops! We played, read books, snacked, and even went to story time together! I enjoyed the small waterfalls and the slides. Mom and Dad even took me into the arcade. Dad won me a ball and care bear! I played a driving game with mom and sat on a 4-wheeler game with dad. After we checked out we took Nana & Pops to Cheeseburger in Paradise and there was a balloon guy there who made me a Cookie Monster and Jordy a monkey!!! It was soooo cool! I have already busted both of his balloon legs and his cookie, so sorry, no pic. I was so exhausted when I got home that I fell asleep mid-meal in my highchair. It's been a great spring break staying at home with daddy all day!

18 Month Check-Up & Modeling Gig

Yesterday was a busy day for me! I had my 2nd modeling gig at Varney's in the morning. They had me model a once piece lounging shorts outfit. They're going to use my picture for their online store and a flyer that will be sent out to rewards customers. I'll post the link as soon as it's available. After my gig we picked up mom at work and went to eat at Texas Star. I enjoyed dipping my chips in salsa and I ate even ate some french fries.

At my 18th month appointment I measured 32.5 inches long which puts me in the 55th percentile and I weighed 22 lbs 6 oz which is in the 7th percentile. I'm average and lean, mom says she's jealous...haha. Dr. Duff said my lungs sounded good, ears looked great, and I'm doing all the things I should be and more. Too bad there wasn't an ornery scale, mom says I'd score off the charts!

Whenever my mom can figure out the issues she's having posting pics from our home computer there will be some!

Sick Weekend

This weekend I had my first hospital stay since I was born. I have pneumonia and the doctor thought that it would be best if I stay the night to get some fluids and antibiotics in me. It was very scary getting IVs and x-rays. I cried a lot, but mommy and daddy were there and they said I was still brave. Mommy and I watched K-State beat Baylor on Friday night in the hospital. On Saturday though we mourned K-State's loss to KU. Our friends from KC, Nick & Stephanie & their 8 week old daughter Hanna, came down to CG and watched the game with us. I like Hanna, she is cute and doesn't fuss much. I got to tickle her toes. Daddy held her once and I let him know I didn't appreciate it. Mommy finally got her new camera, she took over 100 pictures on Sat. and Sun. Will post some tonight!
Thank you everyone for your prayers and well wishes. I am almost back to my old self.

Happy 4th Birthday Grace

This weekend we went to KC to celebrate Grace's 4th birthday party at the Pottery Cafe. I wasn't feeling creative so mom made my plate for me. It's purple with my hand print and name. I had a great time at Grace's birthday party and the cake was delicious!

I also got to meet Sarah this weekend. She is very cute with chubby cheeks and lots of dark hair. One time she cried and I felt so bad for her I cried too. Lauren and I had a good time playing outside on her swing set and blowing bubbles. As usual we were all exhausted by the time we got home on Sunday, but managed to play outside again for a while. I had a great weekend with family and I'm looking forward to our upcoming trip to the Great Wolf Lodge!!!

I had a great time at the 3-2-1 A State wrestling tournament in Hays last weekend. The Braves did a great job and I had a fun time seeing Grandma, and the Armbruster gang in Ellis! Kaden and I had a blast together. We played games, danced, and he even showed me the computer!!!

Here I am wearing Matt's 6th place medal with the guys!

Regional Wrestling

I've been battling a case of Pink Eye and a double ear infection this past week, but managed to get healthy enough for a trip on Saturday to Rossville to watch 5 Braves qualify for State wrestling! There were 3 in the championship round and 2 in the 3-4th place round. We're all pretty excited for our trip to Hays this coming weekend! I get to see Grandma and the Ellis Armbruster gang!

Sarah Cale Ceule is here!

Well Well Mommy, Lauren, and Grace were right, it's a Girl! Sarah was born on February 15th, she weighed 9 lbs, 2 oz, and has lots of dark hair and round cheeks. Her big sister Lauren is very proud! Our weekends are very busy with wrestling, but we'll be up to meet her the 1st weekend in March!

K-Stave vs KU & Uncle Cale's Birthday

Last weekend we headed up to KC to spend the weekend at Grace's house and to watch the K-State vs. KU game with Lauren, Aunt Abby and Uncle Keith. I had a great time with the girls playing, singing karaoke, and eating cookies. Aunt Jacque also cut my hair on Sunday, which I did not like, but I do look better now. I had a lot of hair for her to cut too. On our way home we stopped at Lauren's house for a quick visit, Lauren even showed me soon to be born baby Ceule's room! I had a great weekend and look forward to seeing everyone again at Jordy's 1st birthday party on Saturday!

CG Duals 2010

Daddy had his home wrestling tournament this weekend which means I had family coming to town! Uncle Jack and Uncle Cale helped Dad with the tournament while I played with Nana, Pops, Aunt Jacque, and Grace. We ate ice cream, cheez its, cookies and m&m's (provided by Nana & Aunt Jacque of course)....it was a good day! Grace and I watch some of the movie Cars, Care Bears, and my favorite Christmas sing along and of course played with toys, Oscar the cat, and an empty box.

Dad had me come eat breakfast with the team and I got to warm up on the mat with too. I had a good time watching wrestling and seeing family. It was another great weekend!
Mom still doesn't have a camera, but stole some pictures from Grace's blog...

Still No Camera

Mom still doesn't have a camera so adorable pictures of me will not be gracing my page anytime soon :(

Mom and Dad had a 3 day weekend and I enjoyed our long weekend together! Saturday Mom and I went to watch Dad's wrestlers at their Topeka tournament. The guys did great Saturday, they had 2 guys place 1st and 8 others place 2nd, 3rd, or 4th! After the tournament we had to hit up Babies r' Us, the mother land for mothers, for some necessities.

Guess who was at our house when we got home? Grandma! She stayed with us through Monday and I had a great time seeing her and showing her all my toys. Grandma also made sure Oscar the cat didn't bully me too much.

On Monday we decided we had to get out of the house, so we went to Emporia to eat lunch and then cached a CG boys basketball game in the afternoon. Nana was on her way home from KC, so she stopped to see me for a little bit. Glad we could catch her on her way home!

Busy weekend as usual, but I'm so happy I got to see both Grandmas! Next weekend is Daddy's home wrestling tournament so I will get to see lots of family and friends. Maybe mom will have pictures next post, well see!

Hello 2010

Happy New Year!
For NYE we went out to some friend's cabin at the lake who invited 2 other families and their kids. I had a good time playing with my buddies and sneaking crackers and cheese. I even stayed up till 11:30 p.m. and slept in till 9 a.m.

The next few days were lazy blurs and it's nice to be back in my normal routine now.

Football

I love me some football. I am 100% all man. During the break week between Christmas and New Year's, dad didn't have to go to work. So of course we watched every single Bowl Game that we could while mom was at work. I personally enjoy sitting on my rocking horse while dad prefers the couch for football watching. I even call the TV remotes "football" because that's what they do, turn on the TV for football!

If mom had a camera *sigh* she'd upload a picture of me sitting on my rocking horse, glued to the TV, watching football.....

Merry Christmas - Very Late - Bad Mom

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a great and blessed Christmas like I did. We started off at Grandma's on Tuesday, and ended at Nana and Pop's on Monday. As predicted I was spoiled completely with toys and attention from all the family we saw during the break. I have to admit I had a better Christmas than mom and dad. Mom got so sick on Christmas she couldn't even make it with dad, grandma and I to great Aunt Janet's house in Ellis. But she was better on Saturday and made the drive with us to El Dorado. I hung out with my best friends and cousins, Grace, Lauren, and Jordy. Then dad got super sick on Sunday and we had to stay over another night. After we got home Monday mom took me to the Dr. and he said I had a double ear infection. What a week! But we're all healthy now and thankful to be back into a routine.

No pictures? Funny story. On Christmas morning, while Dad was busy loading the car for the trip to Ellis, he dropped our camera in the driveway. This would be the same camera mom made him promise, on her death bed, that he'd take to Christmas to capture all the joy that she was missing while home.alone.and sick. And needless to say he didn't notice he dropped it, and then ran over it. So the camera didn't have a good Christmas and we're currently in the market for it's replacement. Dad's defense is simply I went to Christmas with the in-laws without my wife. Mom has since cut him some slack. Personally I don't understand this statement as I had a blast being treated like a circus monkey by dotting women all day. Mom was however able to save the memory card so pictures from Grandma's Christmas morning will be coming soon.

Happy Birthday baby Jesus, we'll celebrate again next year I promise!
